Excellent
Very wheelchair friendly, lots of accessible parking right at the door. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. This place is just off the Kingsway heading Northbound, great as a stop off on a long drive for a coffee or as a meal out with the family. I would recommend this place highly!
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
There is a lowered kerb in the car Park which is flush with the parking bays to allow easy access. Also there is a wide ramp to the entrance of the building. The glass doors allow the staff to see who is comming and going from the restraunt and if you cannot manage the doors they will come and assist you!
Parking & Transport
Excellent
Outside this venue there are a great number of disabled parking bays right at the front door. The venue is situated just off the road and is connected the the Premier Inn Dundee West if you require overnight accomodation.
Accessible Toilets
Good
There is an accessible loo situated to the right hand side of the bar area on entering the building away from the main toilets and is always open so no need to have to ask for a key! It is a good size, clean and checked on a regular basis. No shortage of hand rails that's for sure, it is big enough for a chair and a carer if required. There is a pull cord within reach should you need assistance. The tap is also really easy to use if you have weakness in your upper body.
Staff
Excellent
I couldn't fault the staff they were helpful from start to finish of my visit. I did not feel like I was hindering them as I have experienced in the past in other places. They opened the doors, assisted my group to a table of our choice and where happy to move chairs etc. They discreetly made me aware of where the accessible loo was. Overall they were VERY helpful.
Additional Information
I would definitely recommend the Beafeater Gourdie Croft to everyone. There food is really good with a great choice for everyoneand if u dont want a meal there is a separate area for sitting having a cuppa.
