Overview
A group of disabled people and carers went. There's ramped access to the front door and a central lift gives easy access to each floor and room. The exhibits are accessible with large print and hearing loops which mostly worked.
Transport & Parking
There's no parking, disabled or otherwise. We got dropped off at the front door.
Access
Loops throughout, though I've fed back not all work 100%. Signage clear and everything viewable No steps. Ramp to front door and down into one room. Subtitles on the film Seats throughout States they will arrange BSL interpretation given notice
Toilets
There aren't any. But many in the local town.
Staff
Two staff: one shop and entrance steward, one volunteer in the library. Volunteer did brass rubbings with people with learning difficulties, was very good. Shop steward was okay. Said he believed there are induction loops on displays but said he didn't know frequency details... Carers were free. Others not so.
