Overview
A church used as a music venue. Helpful and friendly people and good access. The only reason for dropping a star is that access is slightly limited by me door being standard 26 inches
Transport & Parking
Crail is a small fishing village so lots of on street parking.
Access
There is a fairly steep gradient up to the level of the church. It can be negotiated with care. A path leads to the vestry door for entrance to the church. Once in the vestry there is good turning space so you can go through the next door head on. This is the 26 inch door. The church is ramped throughout. At the back there is the main foyer, lots of turning space, and then the accessible toilet.
Toilets
The toilet has one rail on the wall and a pull down rail. There is plenty of space to side transfer from the right facing the toilet. Good circulation space. A wash hand basin and paper towel dispenser.
Staff
The Crail Festival staff were responsible for the venue and everyone was friendly and helpful. I had phoned ahead before booking and Ian, the Chair, went to check out the access and gave me detailed feedback.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
They have done all they can with an old building. Was pleased to see they had a water dispenser in the foyer.
