As a registered Zoo, Potters World is home to a fascinating array of free-flying birds, tropical fish, reptiles, and majestic Birds of Prey. Young adventurers can discover endless fun in Potters Play Tunnel, an interactive play space designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Beyond our garden essentials—including premium plants, gravel, and sundries—we are proud to offer a diverse shopping experience. Explore our extensive Gift Shop, Deli, Aquatics and Pond Department, and a carefully curated collection of indoor and outdoor furniture and garden buildings. No visit is complete without an exceptional food experience, and our Greenhouse Restaurant delivers just that. Lanchester Garden Centre is committed to ensuring accessibility for all visitors, including those with disabilities and requirement for support. 2025 we are focusing heavily on inclusion and would warmly welcome feedback on how we can improve as we plan to make changes and improvements for the next 12 months In the mean time ere’s an overview of the facilities available: Parking: There are dedicated spaces for disabled badge holders located near the entrance, making access more convenient. Wheelchair Accessibility: The centre is fully accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. A wheelchair is available for customer use on a first-come, first-served basis, though visitors are encouraged to bring their own if possible. There are some areas of gravel but only small areas. Toilets & Baby Changing: Spacious disabled toilet facilities are available next to the restaurant and within the gardens. Garden Access: A wooden walkway has been created around the garden beds, allowing disabled visitors to enjoy the beautiful views up close. Restaurant Access: The Greenhouse Restaurant is accessible. Potters World is single storey also and has a full wooden path with some slight inclines in places. Sensory baskets - we have sensory baskets for loan in our restaurant and potters world and a dedicated quiet space in our play tunnel. First Aid Support: The centre has a well-prepared team of first aiders, all clearly identifiable with badges, ensuring quick assistance if needed. Carry-to-Car Service: Our friendly team is always happy to assist with carrying purchases to your car, ensuring a seamless and stress-free shopping experience. Delivery Service: For larger items or bulk purchases, we offer a convenient delivery service, bringing your shopping straight to your doorstep.

We invite you to explore and enjoy our beautiful grounds alongside their owners. Whether you're strolling through our gardens or relaxing in our outdoor seating areas, your furry companions can enjoy the fresh air and open spaces. However, to ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors and animals, dogs are not permitted within Potters World Zoo. We kindly ask that all dogs remain on a lead and can be left with a member of our team while they offer you a guided tour instead.
