NOT INCLUDED IN ANY PACKAGE – Flights, travel insurance, drinks & sundries. BEDROOMS All 5 bedrooms are spacious and wheelchair accessible, with either level or ramped access and wide doors. The ensuite bathrooms are wet-room style with roll-in showers and plenty of grab rails around the WC and shower. The rooms are decorated in a Spanish traditional style with all modern comforts; air conditioning, heating, WiFi, Hair-dryer, Kettle and complimentary tea and coffee. Two of the rooms are family rooms and sleep up to 4 people. Beds can be made as singles or as super kingsize doubles. Electric profiling beds are available for hire. BAR, RESTAURANT & LOUNGE Dining is a highlight of a stay at Las Piedras. Delicious freshly prepared Mediterranean food making the most of the fantastic local produce. The set menu is different every night and features many local dishes. There is also a snack & bar menu to choose from. Special diets, vegetarians, allergies, blended meals all catered for. Meals are taken either in the lovely Andalucian style restaurant or on the vine-covered terrace with mountain views. There is a fully stocked bar featuring Spanish wines and finos, San Miguel on tap, and a selection of spirits and soft drinks. There is also a poolside “help yourself” honesty bar fridge. The lounge area has comfy sofas a TV, books and board games. There is a wood burning stove for winter.

Accessibility

Las Piedras is specifically designed with the needs of physically disabled people in mind. To that end the entire hotel and grounds are barrier free and accessible. There is considerable attention to detail throughout. Clothing rails, hooks and switches are lowered, power points are raised. There are extra-wide doors and there is extra clearance under tables and sinks for wheelchairs and clearance under all beds for hoists. The rooms are large with ample turning circles and level or graduated ramp access to all areas. Minimum door opening width 86 cm Bed heights to top of mattresses 48 cm (bed raisers and higher beds available to 58cm). Profiling beds with adjustable height available for hire. Toilet heights to top of seat 45 cm (toilet seat raiser available to raise by a further 10 cm). Las Piedras Hotel is on a hillside, there is one bedroom on the ground floor, the 4 other bedrooms are on the first floor, access is via a long path with graduated ramp. We have a range of mobility aids for use or hire and can provide personal care / assistance by prior arrangement. In the grounds we have a specially designed heated swimming pool and jacuzzi complete with grab-rails and hoist. We have our own fleet of accessible vehicles and provide airport transfers & excursions.
