Venue Description

Muirshiel Country Park is part of the larger Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and offers great access and beautiful views of some of Scotland's best heather moorland. Located just outside the village of Lochwinnoch, Muirshiel Country Park is just 40 minutes drive from Glasgow. The Country Park has trails and walks around and BBQ sites so you can make the most of the outdoors.

Accessibility

The Visitor Centre itself is based on all one level with hearing loop facility and disabled toilets. There are ramps for access out of the higher raised section at the back of the building. Guidance on which trails are suitable for wheelchair users can be sought from our helpful Visitor Centre Assistants. Centre is open weekends in winter 11.00 - 15.00 hrs and daily in summer 11.00 - 16.00 hrs.

Disabled toilet located at the end of the building with grab rails and wide entrance. Further larger cubicle disabled toilets located inside the male and female toilet facilities also fitted with grab rails.
