Newton Abbot Library sits within The Passmore Edwards Centre, an accessible focal point for the local community. The library is home to the Work:Space co-working spaces - hot-desks and small meeting rooms for entrepreneurs, small businesses and remote workers. There are also a number of larger meeting and training spaces which can host up to 25 people. Prices start at £1.10 per hour for a hot desk to £30.30 for a larger space. There are discounts for charity bookings. Work:Space users can access bike storage and showers, and there is free WiFi throughout the building. The Owl and the Pussycat café and courtyard and on site. The friendly library staff are on hand to help and support you with any queries. Newton Abbot Library is also home to the UK’s second largest collection of railway studies books and reference materials after York's National Railway Museum and is an access point for adult learning.
