NorthLink Ferries offer fast and frequent sailings from the Orkney and Shetland Islands to mainland Scotland. At the Hatston Ferry Terminal in Kirkwall, Orkney, you can catch overnight sailings to the city of Aberdeen three times a week and to Lerwick four times a week.

Accessibility

There is no level access to the NorthLink Ferries Hatston Terminal entrance. There is a gradual slope with railings. The main doors (100cm wide) and the second set of doors (147cm wide) open automatically. The reception desk is 2.5m from the entrance, with level access. Part of the desk is lower for wheelchair users. A walkway with a gradual slope leads from the first floor to the ferry. There is also a waiting area on the first floor. There is a lift between the Ground Floor and First Floor, found 9m from the accessible entrance. The dimensions of the lift are 109cm x 143cm.

Toilets

The Northlink Ferry Terminal at Hatston has two adapted toilets designated for public use. These are unisex, a key is not required and the doors are locked by a twist lock. One is situated at the Hatston Ferry Terminal Vehicle Check-In (1.75m from the accessible entrance) and one is on the Ground Floor of the Hatston Terminal Building (12m from the accessible entrance).
