Venue Description

Visit Northumberland College Zoo, we have over one hundred species of animals including ring tailed and ruff lemurs, meerkats, coatis, marmosets, kookaburra, wallaby and a wide range of domestic, exotic and avian species including our rabbit and cavy barn. Visitors can meet the keepers and learn about the animals and their habitats. With a rolling programme of kids’ activities, play area in the zoo, garden walks, picnic areas and a Food kiosk and gift shop which are open, there really is something for all of the family.

Accessibility

The attraction is on one level, with no steps. There is a small lip in some of the doorways to some building which houses the toilets and some of the attraction. Most of the animals are viewed in the open air from level, tarmacked paths. We have an accessible toilet.
