Accessibility

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority has developed these walking routes to help people of all abilities be able to enjoy the National Park. These walks vary in difficulty and are ideal for families with young children or pushchairs, less able bodied people, and anyone that just wants a leisurely stroll. Some walks have been surfaced to provide access for wheelchairs, others are footpaths or bridleways where the natural surface has not been changed. As a general guide, we have divided the walks into 'Easy Access Walks' and 'Adventure Walks'. Easy Access Walks are the most accessible. Surfaces are hard and smooth and gradients are gentle: any gradients steeper than 1:20 (5%) are mentioned in the directions and indicated on the walk map. Adventure Walks are longer, surfaces can be varied and gradients less gentle, although all gradients steeper than 1:12 (8.3%) are mentioned in the directions and indicated on the walk map. https://www.pembrokeshirecoast.wales/default.asp?PID=389 We also have a number of Easy access viewpoints . The viewpoints can all be reached by car and have a parking area or lay-by. These view points offer the opportunity for people with limited mobility to be outdoors, see fantastic views, watch wildlife and experience the wonder of nature and it’s elements. https://www.pembrokeshirecoast.wales/default.asp?PID=381
