Overview
When you learn that Porterhouse Steakhouse is part of a farmer-owned organisation, you can pretty sure that their meat and produce has to satisfy the producers! Porterhouse is actually located within Aberdeen and Northern Marts complex at Thainstone, just off the A96 north of Kintore. Although steaks are the headline dish at Porterhouse there are other options, including a Sunday carvery. The dress code is quite informal, so you won't feel out-of-place dressed either casual, or more formal.
Transport & Parking
From the Thainstone roundabout on the A96 take the second entrance into the Thainstone Centre. There are signposts to Porterhouse. It is on the far right of the buildings.
Access
There is a line of disabled parking spaces at the door. Access to Porterhouse is level, with only the gentlest of slopes. From there you walk straight into the restaurant.
Toilets
Continuing the easy access, the toilets are on the same level as the restaurant and are just at the restaurant door.
Staff
The desk inside the main door is where you confirm your booking and get escorted to your table. The staff on our most recent visit were notably young, but efficient and eager to please.
