Transport & Parking

The Premier Inn at Haymarket is a two-minute walk from the railway station, the tram stop and the bus interchange. Taxis can drop at the door and there is on site parking.

Access

Access in and around the building: The main entrance sits in the centre of the building which spans the length of the road. Wide glass doors are automated and open as you approach. Leading in to the spacious reception area. Reception and the foyer area are large in order to cope with the 300 plus rooms that are available in the hotel. The hotel is large and has several lifts serving the different floors. There are fifteen accessible bedrooms with four of them on the ground floor. A restaurant and bar are located on the ground floor. Access in the accessible bedrooms and bathrooms: The accessible bedroom spacious. The entrance door had a clearance width of 86 cm and the bathroom 80 cm. There was a good area to one side of the bed for turning. The furniture can be moved to allow easier access. Other accessible rooms have different layouts and some have a second bed. The bathroom is of the more traditional style with a bath and grab rails. There is an over bath shower Access in the dining area: The dining area has level access and the furniture is moveable which aids access. Access to other facilities: The bar is next to restaurant and has tables and chairs that can be moved.

Toilets

There is an accessible toilet near to the reception. It was spacious and functional.

Staff

The staff were helpful and informative.
