Ra Boat Trip in the Broads National Park
Hoveton Broads National Park Information Centre, Hoveton, NR12 8UR, United Kingdom | 01603 756097 | WebsiteVenue Description
Hoveton and Wroxham adjoin each other, either side of the River Bure. Take to the water here on board Ra and you’ll find yourself drifting into another world, transported along a beautiful and tranquil stretch of the river, going to Caen Meadow on the short trip (1 hour) and into Bridge Broad and along to Belaugh on the long trip (1½ hours). Listen to the birdsong and relax in a green world, with meadows and wet woodlands on either side that can’t be explored by land, so you really do need to get out on a boat to enjoy it. Ra sits high on the water, so offers great views. Named after the Egyptian sun god, Ra was the first solar-powered passenger boat in the UK. We are sorry we cannot take dogs, except assistance dogs, on these trips. All passengers must wear the life jackets provided. For spring and autumn trips bring warm, waterproof clothes. In April, May, October trips run weekends, bank holidays, Easter week and local half-term only at 10.30am (short trip), 11.45am (long trip), 2.00pm (long trip), 3.45pm (short trip). In June-September trips run daily 10.30am (short trip), 11.45am (long trip), 2.00pm (long trip), 3.45pm (short trip). Short trip prices: £11 adult, £9 child, £34 family; long trip prices £13 adult, £11 child, £44 family; family tickets are for up to two adults and two children.Accessibility
