Venue Description

Royal & Derngate is the main venue for arts and entertainment in Northamptonshire. Our vision is to be a national, regional and local centre for creativity and entertainment which inspires audiences and artists in Northamptonshire through live performance, film and creative projects.

Accessibility

Two main entrances with level access and automatic doors. Two standard lifts available for all visitors. Dedicated lift for wheelchair users to access the cafe area. Internal ramps for access to all foyer areas.

Accessible Performances

Signed performances, Audio Described, captioned and Relaxed performances are available. Touch tours can also be arranged upon request. Contact the Box Office in the first instance. Social stories can also be provided for patrons on the Autism spectrum.

Toilets

We have accessible toilets on two levels, providing wheelchair access and featuring grab rails, easy turn taps and adult changing facilities

Staff

Key staff have received disability awareness training.
