The hotel uses a portable ramp at it's George street entrance, The ramp goes over 3 steps and is extremely steep. I use a self propelled wheelchair and there is no way I could propel up this independently. Once up the ramp there is then a small landing and one more step, which is like a large pavement and there is no ramp for this step. It took 3 people to help me enter the hotel and I did not feel safe on the ramp. I'm doubt if an electric chair would manage the steep ramp or the last step. Once in the hotel I found the carpets to be very thick and difficult to propel on. There are several sloped/ramped carpeted areas in the hotel which are again pretty steep so again I couldn't propel on these, although an electric chair would likely manage these. For me it meant that every time i needed to move from one area to another I needed someone to push me. On the plus side there is a good disabled toilet.

There are two disabled spaces right outside on the main street, but on busy days eg Saturdays it is unlikely that these will be free as the hotel is right in the main shopping area.

Additional Information
It is a lovely hotel with good food but access is very poor and potentially unsafe so I can't recommend it for wheelchair uses. I didn't stay so have no idea about accomodation
