Descriptive tour and workshop consisting of a 90 minute tour in the morning,
followed by a lunch break and a 2.5 hour practical workshop in the
afternoon. Guides, chairs and refreshments will be provided. Please bring a
packed lunch.

This new display collates some of the highlights from Portrait Gallery's
outstanding twentieth-century collection. This rich survey of paintings,
sculpture and works in other media from 1918 onwards features figures from
science, politics, the arts, business and sport - it is a cross section of
well kent faces from Ramsay Macdonald, Alan Cumming and Tilda Swinton to
Anne Redpath, Danny McGrain and JM Barrie.
