Disabled Access Day 2017

We are delighted to take part in Disabled Access Day 2017

The touch sensory tour explores monuments, pillars, exterior and interior walls, the Reiger Organ exterior casing, memorial plates, the Knox marker stones, statue, the Jenny Geddes stool, sculpted stone, ornate wood furnishings, the interior of the Thistle Chapel featuring the many wood carvings the granite marble flooring and the stalls of the Knights of the Order of the Thistle.
My timetable will be all day Saturday and part of Sunday given the Church services.
Saturday 10.00 till 11.30.
                 
                 13.00 till 14.30.
                 14.30 till 16.30.
Sunday.    13.00 till 14.30.
                  14.30 till 16.00.
Due to the nature of the 1120 building, Disabled Access for wheelchair is only via the West door, there is no wheelchair access into the Thistle Chapel which is accessed by four steps. Wheelchair access to the Cafe is via Old Parliament Square on the South side of the Church.
St. Giles has no admission charges. There is a shop which provides St. Giles and historical related materials.
