Newcastle has two major bus stations, Haymarket (for services from Northumberland and the North) and Eldon Square (for services from County Durham and the south) both of which are located within 1/4 of a mile of the stadium on Percy Street. Localised bus services drop off on Barrack Road and Strawberry Place directly outside the stadium St James' metro station is also located less than 500 yards from the stadium on Strawberry Place.
