Walk in the footsteps of your Neolithic ancestors at Stonehenge – one of the wonders of the world and the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe. Explore the ancient landscape on foot and step inside the Neolithic Houses to discover the tools and objects of everyday Neolithic life. Visit the world-class exhibition and visitor centre with 250 ancient objects and come face to face with a 5,500 year-old man.

Toilets

WCs All toilet facilities are fitted with hand driers, and the flooring is either polished concrete or, at the monument, stone tiling. Walls are plaster or stone tiles, and there is compact fluorescent and natural lighting throughout. The main wcs are at the Visitor Centre and at the Group Admissions point in the coach park. Visitor Centre The accessible wcs are located between the men’s and women’s toilets. There is one accessible wc with touch screen entry and locking, an adult change, which is a registered Changing Place, including accessible wc, a change table and a hoist. This has RADAR key access. The transfer side is on the right in the accessible wc and either side on the Changing Place. A baby changing room is located in the same area, with fold down changing bed, a chair and sink There are 17 wcs in the women’s facilities, two of which have larger cubicles with a standard toilet. The men’s has 11 urinals and 11 cubicles with standard toilets. Group Admissions: There are 22 women’s wcs, 2 men’s cubicles and 8 urinals. An accessible toilet and a baby change are located in the lobby between the two. The transfer side is on the right. Monument: 3 unisex toilets and an accessible toilet are available for emergency use upon request. A member of staff can direct visitors if these toilets are needed. THe transfer side is on the left. Education room: There are 2 wcs, one of which is accessible. Walls are painted white and there are white tiles in the sink area. The transfer side is on the right.
