Venue Description

The Brunton offers the best in music, theatre, dance, comedy, children's theatre and film all year round as well as a programme of festive entertainment at Christmas time, including a traditional pantomime. Our stunning, Venue 1, with state of the art facilities, is also available for private hire weddings and functions. The Bistro at The Brunton is open Mon-Sat for tasty meals and snacks. Accessibility

Ramps at Ladywell Way and North High Street entrances. Box Office has a lowered counter. Lift access to theatre, venue 1 and 2. Theatre has gallery for wheelchairs. Venues 1 and 2 have flat areas at front for wheelchairs. The pantomime is BSL interpreted and audio described. Headsets are available for the loop system on request.

Accessible Performances

We don't have accessible performances very often, but they are programmed by us for our Pantomime, which we produce. We offer BSL Interpreted, Audio described, and autism friendly performances.

Toilets

There are accessible toilets on the ground floor in the main foyer and off the upstairs bar of Venue 1. There is also an accessible toilet and shower backstage of the theatre for disabled performers.

Please advise our box office staff when booking tickets of any specific assistance you require and if you would like to use the loop system. Our Front of House staff will be on hand to assist.
