Helpful, accessible and central
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid, Mobility Scooter
We booked our room on the phone so we could ensure that we had arranged an accessible room, they were very helpful on the phone. When we arrived our room was ready, two hours before it needed to be, and we were able to take our things upstairs. The lift easily fitted by mobility scooter, luggage and my friend. Our room was through double doors and on the right, early accessible with my friend to help. The room was spacious with room for the scooter to be charged with a clean and modern wet room. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel, and both were good quality.
Transport & Parking
There is no car park for the hotel which might be tricky, but there is an unloading zone outside the entrance and there was no issue with having to rush. If coming from the station then the hotel is really convenient being about 20m round the corner.
All access was excellent except for the ramp into the entrance; this was smaller than could be provided and made for tricky access and egress. However I am aware that the historic nature of the hotel and the street must be constraints.
Excellent, no complaints
Most of the staff are very helpful and offered me assistance quietly - really good service
