Venue Description

"A place to meet friends, be entertained, and get creative" The contemporary Lights features a 249 seat fully raked auditorium, a large Arena Hall with outside canopied decking area, a suite of business rooms, a dance studio and function rooms, all complemented by a stylish cafe area and wine bar. Offering a full professional programme of music, theatre, comedy and dance together with an arts related education and training programme, community group performances, exhibitions and gigs, The Lights is the hub of creative activity for the Andover area.

Accessibility

The Lights is committed to being accessible and welcoming to everyone. The automatic front doors open to level access to all public areas. Up to eight wheelchairs can be accommodated in Row A of the auditorium and induction loops are available in both the Auditorium and Arena Hall. For those with mobility issues we recommend seats in Rows A - C. Accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities are provided. Guide, hearing and assistance dogs are welcome. An essential companion scheme is available for people with a disability who require some assistance.

Accessible Performances

The venue has braille signage on doors. There is a tactile map of the facilities available. There is a social story available to introduce visitors to the theatre - designed for those with autism in mind, but helpful to anyone who is new to the theatre.
