A really well laid out and accessible day out! Everything inside is easily accessible and extremely helpful staff.

Transport & Parking

Plenty of Blue Badge spaces and flat road access into the museum. Not covered so you might get wet if it's raining!

Access

Excellent! All areas accessible and I could see everything I wanted. There are one or two tanks that you can actually climb into but I couldn't get into those but all the others were laid out with plenty of room to wheel around them. We didn't go outside on our visit due to the weather so can't comment on the accessibility of the outside unfortunately.

Toilets

Toilets again very good, plenty big enough to transfer.

Staff

The staff were exceptionally helpful. They did guided tours, helped you with any problems and even opened a back entrance for us to leave when it was throwing it down with rain in order for us to access the car without getting too wet!!

An excellent day out! (In fact, it was so interesting, we went back again the next day as your ticket gives entrance for a year) Carer got in free also. I had no real interest in tanks before I visited but found it really fascinating and much better than I expected! Overall, a thoroughly interesting visit and I would recommend it!
