Venue Description

Uttoxeter Leisure Centre went through a large scale transformation in 2014, with a multi-million pound redevelopment project bringing the town's leisure and sporting facilities into the modern era. The brand new facility now includes a 25m swimming pool, climate controlled fitness studio, large 4 court sports hall, safe and secure creche, welcoming cafe, modern and spacious changing rooms an inviting open plan layout. The new centre has purpose build accessible changing rooms so that all customers can make use of this fantastic new facility.

Accessibility

The brand new Uttoxeter Leisure Centre features a fantastic open plan layout with large doorways and corridors providing easy access to all of our new services. The entire centre is on one ground floor level so access to each room and facility is simple and easy. Fire Exits and the main entrance also feature gradual slopes for accessibility. The new centre features a dedicated Changing Places room and accessible toilets in all main areas.

Toilets

We have accessible toilets in the reception area, main changing rooms, dry changing rooms as well as a dedicated changing places room.

Staff

Our staff are fully trained in customer service excellence awards and we pride ourselves on a fantastic service delivery to our customers. A high percentage of the whole staff group have completed basic disability awareness training level 1 and a few key members of staff have completed level 2 or 3.
