Venue Description

Villa Carpe Diem is your private, home away from home. We offer electric and manual hoists, Theraposture or Baltic electric profiling beds and a raise and recline chair to compliment the built in aspects of this accessible villa. Our wheelchair accessible vehicle is available should you wish to book it. We also offer scuba diving with our PADI / Disabled Divers International dive-master Sean. For those that want it we can also arrange local care to suit. To discuss your specific needs feel free to contact us.

Accessibility

The villa is designed with the wheelchair user in mind. Doorways are 900mm clear going, floors are ceramic tiles and level. Wide, non-slip ramps afford access to the front door and to the verandah. These areas can be illuminated at night. There are a couple of small door cills for which we have ramps that can be positioned to permit ingress / egress without having to bump over the level change. Getting into and out of the swimming pool - we provide a pivoting manual hydraulic hoist.

Toilets

We have an accessible wet room which has a wheel in shower, a toilet with drop down grab rails on each side. There is also a full length bath and a wash basin. We provide a shower chair.

Staff

My wife and I have built up experience of working to provide an enjoyable holiday experience for people with diverse needs. We have English and English speaking associates who can provide specialist equipment and specialist skills as required. Our GP is available for consultations if and when required. Our local pharmacist is able to supply or source specific medications or their generic equivalents.
