Venue Description
VIM Health is a neurorehabilitation centre and accessible gym based in Mid Sussex. Our healthcare professionals deliver bespoke intensive rehab programs using state-of-the-art upper and lower limb robotics. We support people living with a range of neurological conditions. Our mission is to empower you on your rehabilitation journey, to make positive progress at your own pace. We are tackling the inequalities seen within the community that limit access to safe, appropriate spaces to exercise in, for people living with an impairment. We've created a warm and inviting space to motivate you and make the recovery process as enjoyable as possible. Our services include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, hydrotherapy, community rehabilitation, sports massage, adapted exercise classes and more. Our centre has two spaces that work as one. Downstairs is our neuro rehab space, where you'll find most of our upper and lower limb robotics. Upstairs is our accessible gym, which you can access by our newly fitted lift; we offer a Vim Gym membership separately for those who want to come down and work out in our accessible space. Our focus has been to create a space that is not just accessible but comfortable with healthcare professionals on hand to support your progress.
Accessibility
We have three designated disabled bays directly in front of the centre, the front door is automatic which is opened by the press of a button on your left as you approach the entrance. Our disabled toilet and changing space is on the ground floor and our gym space is accessed by a newly fitted lift, which takes you from ground to level one.
