A young mother-to-be worries about how to navigate parenting with a hearing child and partner in this Catalonian drama.

A continuation of the 2023 Goya Award-nominated short film, pottery maker Ángela (Miriam Garlo) navigates her anxieties about how to communicate with her new daughter in a world that does not accomodate her deafness.

Overwhelmed with mixed emotions, a crisis is triggered in her relationship with her hearing partner, Héctor (Álvaro Cervantes) as they must face questions of identity, alienation and parenting.

Poignant and powerful, Eva Libertad's drama confronts us with questions of our place in the world.

This screening will feature a live extended introduction with director Eva Libertad. The intro will be translated into English and BSL, and there will be auto-captioning available. The film will screen with captions (no BSL).

There will be no adverts or trailers before this screening.
