Fun family venue
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Wheelchair
My father in law and I had a fantastic day at this brilliant venue. No issues at all.
Transport & Parking
Dedicated car park for disabled drivers, nice and close to the main entrance! Beware there's a mighty slope to get to the main entrance, especially if you are in a self propelled wheelchair.
Getting around in a wheelchair was easy enough, there are a few areas where you may need the help of a carer to get up the slopes. Some areas are a bit tight for space. The lift was out of order which meant retracing our steps, but that was okay, just wish we'd been told before we got to it!
Toilets not used on my visit.
Friendly and cheerful, informative when asked questions.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Aside from a few.tight squeezes around the exhibits we had a fun and entertaining day. I would suggest that the venue try their site in a wheelchair to better understand why space is paramount to making for a pleasant visit.
