Beaulieu is one of the south's leading visitor attractions and a great day out for all the family. See the National Motor Museum's stunning collection of over 250 vehicles, from Land Speed Record Breakers and F1 racers to family cars of the 30s and 40s and classic cars of the 70s and 80s. Enter World of Top Gear, featuring actual vehicles from the the TV motoring show, visit Palace House, home of the Montagu family since 1538, and in 13th century Beaulieu Abbey enjoy a film presentation and exhibition on monastic life. Beaulieu is open from 10am daily.
Pathways suitable for wheelchairs join all the sites within the Beaulieu attraction, however, some of the garden and riverside paths are constructed of hoggin and/or gravel. The National Motor Museum has three floor levels with access available to all through ramps and lifts. The lower level of Palace House is accessible to wheelchair users but unfortunately due to the historic nature of the property there is no lift to the upper floor. There is however a visual guide to the upstairs rooms and staff will be happy to show you this on your visit.
