Blackheath Quaker Meeting House

Lawn Terrace, London, SE3 9LL, United Kingdom | 07582 729185 | Website

Venue Description

Meeting for Worship is held every Sunday at 10.30 am for an hour, with tea and coffee afterwards. Everyone is welcome. There are arrangements for children.

Midweek meetings, followed by tea or coffee, are held from 1 to 1.30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month.

Accessibility

There is step less external access both upstairs and downstairs: from the pavement of Lawn Terrace there is a gentle wheelchair-manageable slope up to the front door, and there is level access from Independents Road.

Toilets

Downstairs a 2013 refurbishment created a fully compliant wheelchair-accessible toilet. Upstairs I understand the toilet does not conform in every detail with current requirements, but wheelchair users can and do access it. (Any further improvement would require structural change to the building.) Wheelchair access between the two floors is not available inside the building.
