Good

Coatbridge Health Centre sits between the South Circular Road and the Retail Park. It is all on ground level with different areas sign posted as to what they are for. You enter via double doors these were open and then there is a short passage way then a set of automatic double doors before you enter the building there is a reception desk just of to the right as you enter the doors that can assist you with enquires

Disabled Access In and Around

Average

There is an area marked drop of only in front of the Health Centre this was full of parked cars and made access difficult if you were trying to get in from the main car park area. With in the health centre there should not be any major issues getting around the building

Parking & Transport

Poor

There are only 5 Blue badge spaces this is to the right hand side of the building as you face the main door. The nearest bus stops are out on South Circular Road some distance away. There is also a Taxi rank this is to the left at the over bridge on the South Circular Road There is a large car park but this is shared with the health centre and the Asda sore on the other side of the South Circular road

Accessible Toilets

Bad

There are 2 with in the building one in the main clinic waiting area this was open and was of the basic standard you might expect. However the other toilet the one nearest to the GPs practices and Pharmacy counter was locked. It does not open with a radar key and was told by a member of the public that you need to go back to the reception desk to obtain the key. There was no notice about this on the door or wall. As reception was busy did not check this out but thought it strange to be locked and not a radar key

Average

The health centre as a range of staff in a number of roles however on this visit the staff we meet were fine and doing there role of work.
