Venue Description

Dance City is a vibrant and friendly place where people come together to take part, enjoy, experience and talk about dance; where professional and aspiring dancers meet, learn and train; somewhere to watch world class dance performances and somewhere for all to come along and get involved in dance. People come to Dance City to socialise, learn new skills, keep fit and active, train professionally and find out more about dance. This all takes place under one roof, in our purpose-built dance-house, in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Accessibility

Dance City is committed to dance reaching as many people as possible. Our building is fully accessible and our friendly staff at the ticket office are on hand to help with your enquiries on 0191 261 0505. Facilities include: Accessible parking on the ground level of Grainger Town Multi storey car park Level access to the Dance City building Lift access between all levels of the building Accessible toilets, showers and changing rooms Induction loop at the Ticket Office

Accessible Performances

We often have performances which are signed and can provide an audio loop on request. We also regularly hold performances by physically and learning disabled performers.
