Overview
Venturing in to the Square's gardens you find it's been taken over by a cavalcade of performers, places for a beer, a gallery and more.
Transport & Parking
There is some limited on street parking in the Square. Public transport is great with a tram stop right in the Square. Accessible buses are a few metres from the gardens.
Access
Used as a pop-up festival venue the Square offers shows in the 'tents' where wheelchair access has been built in. Take a drink in the two bar areas which have been decked out with chairs tables, as well as an array of odd decorations. Both areas have ramped access for wheelchair users. Visit the art gallery and browse the paintings - the tented gallery has fairly level access with a small step to the door; similar to a low kerb. The main paths in the square are paved and easy to get along. The food stalls and market stalls do have a raised approach that limits wheelchair access.
Toilets
Good to see that an accessible loo has been installed alongside the main toilets. It's tucked away alongside the main bar area. A small ramp takes you into the portacabin style loo. Spacious and clean.
Staff
Staff we're more than helpful in pointing out where things were and the arrangements for wheelchair users to enjoy what's on.
