Disabled Access Day 2017
Edinburgh Zoo is delighted to be taking part in Disabled Access Day 2017 from 10th -12th March. It is weekend to celebrate good access and create opportunities for people to try something new. We are highlighting the fantastic access that already exists, such as our mobility vehicle, level access and of course a warm welcome!
Alongside this we will be running some extra activities, see below for full details:
- Mobility Vehicle – (Fri to Sun)
- Hoist & Trolley - (Fri to Mon) Available in the Reception area disabled toilets for extra assistance for those with mobility difficulties
- British Sign Language Interpretation – (Saturday) accompanying all daily talks schedule
- Budongo Sensory Spot – (Fri 11:30 – 14:00 & All Day Saturday) Activities involving all 5 senses located in Budongo Trail
- Quiet Room – (Sun 10 – 4 Mansion House Bar)
