The Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey is set in a rural location just off the A10. Its a mixture of open spaces, farm buildings, a cottage and the remains of a 12 century Abbey. In and around the farm buildings are displays celebrating the agricultural history of Cambridgeshire and a rural way of life long gone. Visitors can explore an early 20th century Village Shop and a 1940s farm labourer's cottage. The open spaces include a cottage garden, a wild flower area and a raised pond. Parking is free and there is plenty of space for a picnic if the Tea Room isn't open. Hot and cold drinks available from the Museum Shop. Museum is open every day during the season. Check the website www.farmlandmuseum.org.uk for full details.
