Venue Description

Visit, film, exhibit, wonder, marry, celebrate, record, listen, show, be. The Grade II*-listed Fitzrovia Chapel, once the chapel of the former Middlesex Hospital and now beautifully preserved and restored, is a stunning hidden gem in the heart of the city. Never consecrated, the nineteenth century chapel, a charitable foundation, is a luminous place to get married, display a beautiful object, steep yourself in history and architecture or just sit and reflect.

Accessibility

There are two steps outside the entrance to the chapel, which have a built in lift for wheelchairs. The lift must be operated with a key so please notify us in advance of your visit so we can be ready to operate it for you. Most of the chapel is on one level, but there is a single step to access the altar area. We have an accessible toilet located in our kitchen. The chapel entrance is about 100 feet away from the nearest main road.
