Venue Description
We're one of Europe's biggest biomedical labs and home to more than 1500 scientists working to understand health, disease and how life works. Visit our free exhibition to explore what goes on behind the scenes and gain fascinating insights into the Crick's research. Our public exhibition and gallery space is typically open Wednesday to Saturday, with late opening on Wednesday evenings. We occasionally close for private events, so please check our website for up-to-date opening times before you visit. We also run a programme of free events for the public.Accessibility
Our free exhibition and cafe are located on the ground floor of the Francis Crick Institute. There is level access throughout the exhibition. Seating of various heights is positioned throughout the exhibition. Large print guides, easy read guides and sensory backpacks are available to borrow at the entrance to the exhibition. Our current exhibition, the Wellcome Photography Prize, has an audio-described guide that includes 6 stops around the exhibition. These can be listened to on our website or on portable audio guides that can be borrowed in the exhibition space.
