Overview
Had lunch at Hendersons and really enjoyed it! Would recommend their fresh lemonades and cakes.
Transport & Parking
Parking is available nearby and Lothian Bus 6 goes along and nearby Holyrood Rd
Access
We entered via side entrance which was level although through a slim door. If I had known I’d have opened both before squeezing through but still managed. The till is up a few steps, however this can be accessed via a main door from the street which has a ramp bit to get up - I didn’t go in this way as I assumed it was inaccessible but might be okay to check! Once inside there is a choice of seating that is comfortable and you order from your table.
Toilets
Not signposted but they are next to the payment till on the low level. There is no red cord and only one handrail (on the right as you sit on the loo) which I found a bit difficult transferring. Decent space for myself in a power chair and a carer. The lock is a bit high up but I just managed
Staff
Very nice and knowledgeable about the produce!
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I feel I would have struggled visiting here independently but they have tried in making it accessible i.e the ramps at doors over steps and having a large toilet even if it cannot be classed as accessible. Menu is vegetarian and vegan and has some gluten free options.
