Overview

The surroundings to this venue weren't very salubrious, and there was a rather long walk from car park to front door. Tables were a bit inappropriate and although food & service were alright, we won't be hurrying back!

Transport & Parking

Rather hard to find, and the walk (and smell) may put some people off but duckboards have been put down. Unless you know where you are going, transport leaves a bit to be desired.

Access

Access to and inside the restaurant is generally good. Automatic doors which is always a plus.

Toilets

Tucked away but easy to use, a good size and clean. The worst part is the door.

Staff

In spite of the fact we had phoned ahead as we were pushed for time, service was slow. Staff were friendly enough and the fish was nice enough but given the time of day, things could've been slicker!`

I had heard good things about this restaurant so I was a bit disappointed (could be the time of day?) This meal was a post-script to a trip round Holyrood Park with a Ranger and frankly was a bit of a let-down.
