Overview
My bestie and I went to see Hadestown, and I’ve never had better interactions with venue staff
Transport & Parking
We took the Tube, which had stairs, then walked / crutched to the theatre
Access
The staff member outside managing the queue spotted that I’m a mobility aid user, and asked if we’d like to go in ahead and be shown to our seats. They radio’d a colleague who met us and brought us inside. They pointed out the accessible toilet, told us how far we were going, that there were a few steps, and were so attentive while not being smothering at all.
Toilets
There’s one, it’s large and spotlessly clean. It’s radar key entry, and there’s a member if staff with one in the lobby outside if you don’t have your own.
Staff
Attentive, respectful, and they absolutely made my trip to the theatre. They didn’t make any assumptions about what I could and couldn’t do, instead they made everything clear and allowed me to take the lead on my requirements. No one acted awkwardly towards me, and no one spoke to my friend instead of me.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I would absolutely go here again.
