Venue Description

MBC is a large church building with a church service every Sunday at 11.00am.

We offer a Warm Space café on Monday 10.00am – 12.00pm for refreshments, company, chat and assistance with any technical problems, energy problems etc.

There is a weekly Seniors Lunch Club, bible study groups, Pilates class and exercise class for the more senior.

Accessibility

There is a ramp to the entrance hall and all the church is flat there are no steps. Outside the main entrance there are two designated disabled parking spaces. The entrance is via ramp and the doors are wide enough to open for a wheelchair, they are pushing doors. There is level access throughout the building. There is no lift.

Toilets

There is an accessible toilet with a easy turn tap and grab rails. The accessible toilet has step free access with doors wide enough for a manual wheelchair. There are four grab rails and the toilet is raised. There are easy turn taps and a RADAR lock to the door

Staff

Two staff members have Dementia Friendly training and one of them runs the Seniors Lunch Club where there are members with certain disabilities.
