Museum of Liverpool includes many interactive displays throughout its galleries. This includes tactile objects and displays, many accompanied by Braille labels, as well as displays that are enhanced with smells. The museum has worked alongside local disability community groups to develop a tactile and sensory gallery tour, to highlight this content and help you explore it through audio description.

There is a green touch logo alongside objects at the museum to find the tactile displays, which range from iconic Liverpool album covers with braille labels to modern examples of mussel shells that would have been excavated from a prehistoric site on the Wirral. Audio-described and digital guides are available to navigate the trail.
