Venue Description

Public Library open to everyone from 10-8pm Mon-Wed, 10-5pm Thurs - Sat.. As well as books the library has a collection of materials in various formats such as Large Print, cassette, CD, mp3, maps and DVDs. The building is on one level with wheelchair access, disabled parking, disabled toilet and an induction loop. . The building has wi-fi and public access pcs with printing facilities and coffee facilities on the premisses.

The building is on the flat with ramped access and disabled parking. Access to the building is via automatic doors. The building has disabled toilet and an induction loop.

The disabled toilet is step free, with grab rails and easy turn taps and lock. The space is large enough to turn a power assisted wheelchair

Whilst no member of staff has sign language training all staff have been on various disability awareness training from deafness awareness to dementia awareness training.n
