Good
North Berwick's harbour nestles below the Seabird Centre and is tucked away if you not of the exploring kind. I followed the crowds through the mist and rain to see what I'd find. Nobody told me they were all going on a 'learn to sail' course so I nearly ended up being wheeled on to a dingy!
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
Access to the Harbour was simple once you knew which way to head. A small lane leads down from the Main Street and although it slopes it wasn't too difficult to get up an down. Better wheeling in the road, it's not busy, as the pavement comes to an abrupt end. Once on the Harbour level you can wheel along side the Harbour and admire the collection of boats. There's also a 'shed' that is the home of North Berwick Beach Wheelchairs. A small spur off from the Harbour approach takes you behind some houses and you can look out across the sands of the beach.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
Can fault the parking as there were several accessible parking bays by the Seabird Centre as well as another down by the Harbour. There's also a new bus service from East Coast buses, service 124, accessible with wheelchair space and ramp. It goes from North Berwick to and from Edinburgh. North Berwick also has a railway station not too far from the Harbour but it does have a bit of a hill to negotiate when walking back and forth.
Accessible Toilets
Good
When down at the Harbour a large sign indicates the toilets and appended to this are instructions for the accessible toilet - basically saying go up to the nearby Seabird Centre where you can use the accessible facilities. The Seabird Centre has automated doors and the accessible loo is large, clean and bright. It's adjacent to the cafe so a good stop off point for a coffee!

A good spot to explore as you can admire the views. Visit the Seabird Centre and if you're up for it you can try out a beach wheelchair.
