Pinewood Steading offers luxurious self catering near Loch Ness, in a rural and tranquil part of the Scottish Highlands. With level access from the car park area, the Steading was built all on one level, with wheelchair accessible spacious accommodation. Suitable for people with limited mobility. The main bedroom is exceptionally large. Originally converted for a mother in a wheelchair, Pinewood Steading has been opened since 2017 and renovated to a high standard with lots of luxurious and thoughtful touches. Very well equipped and well stocked. Dog friendly too at no charge. Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms. Free wifi, log burner, underfloor heating, wooden floors throughout. Enclosed and private garden set within a further enclosed 3.5 acres. Rural and peaceful with a 10 mins drive to nearest shops and cafes. Short breaks available. Accessibility Statement on website. Accessibility

Pinewood Steading has level access from the car parking area with a slight ramp to the front door. The property is all on one level bar a short step into the kitchen. The main bedroom is particularly large. There is good wheelchair access throughout. We welcome assistance dogs - for all dogs, there is no charge. Toilets

The bathroom is spacious and a wheelchair can access the room. There is a short step up into the shower. The taps for the bath, sink and shower are easy use.

Staff

We are very happy to discuss your requirements over the telephone or by email prior to booking, and will try to answer any questions that you may have. Jane has a first aid qualification. We can be at Pinewood to receive delivery of shopping or equipment prior to your arrival. We will try our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

All dogs, including assistance dogs, stay for free at Pinewood Steading. There is a private and enclosed garden (with the most stunning and uninterrupted views for miles) set within a further enclosed 3.5 acres.

Other assistance dog facilities

There is an outside hose for washing down your dog. Dog beds, towels, bowls, leads, collars etc can all be provided if you forget them! We also include special doggy treats in our Welcome Basket.
