Environmentally friendly cleaning products used. Good access to Teeside, Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle. Good local bus route, excellent base for walkers and cyclists, 10 mins from NCR1, secure overnight storage for bikes, repairs and parts arranged. No need to bring your own, we can arrange bike hire. Children under 3 years free, cot, nappies and equipment provided

Accessibility

We aim to cater for the needs of all visitors in our home based, 3 bedroom bed and breakfast. Assistance with luggage is always offered to all guests. The entrance is accessed along concrete paths with two seating areas through the guest garden, where there is one step with a threshold into the guest dining room. The paths are lit by solar powered lights at night. Entrance is into guest dining area and reception. Recycled paper Pad and pen on arrival, staff on duty at all times. Guests escorted to rooms and facilities explained. Corridors have Mahogany dado rails, contrasting colours on walls. Guest dining room has wooden floor with fitted carpets to the 14 stairs, corridors and guest bedrooms. Bathrooms all tiled. Birch and Rowan rooms are adjoining with good access for carers. Fridge facilities are available in the kitchen adjoining reception downstairs.

Guest bedrooms are en suite with one additional W.C. in the central corridor, downstairs toilet. Bathroom, Showerand WC (Ensuite) West wing bathroom. Door width 78cm, inward opening with wide access. The shower cubicle step/edge 14cm high. The bath edge is 47cm high. The basin has clear underspace. 86cm high. The toilet available free space 71cm to the right 46cm high. Good colour contrast of floors and mahogany bath panels. Lavender room en suite. radiator to left of toilet, step up into shower cubicle with contrast colour strip 1m
