Venue Description

Ruchazie Community Centre is managed by Glasgow Life on behalf of Glasgow City Council, as a resource for the local community. It was originally built in 1981 and was officially opened by Charles O'Halloran. Ruchazie Community Centre can be used for a variety of community, social and commercial activities, including but not restricted to meetings, small conferences, classes, clubs, arts and crafts, sports activities, dance classes, birthday parties, engagement parties, christening/communion receptions, slimming clubs and martial arts classes. To make a booking enquiry, please call us on 0141 774 0670. Experienced staff are always on hand to assist with any special requirements. Please note that in accordance with Government Policy, smoking is not permitted in Ruchazie Community Centre or our surrounding grounds.

Accessibility

Main entrance has a steep ramp with no hand rail however can be assisted by centre staff members. The centre also benefits from having wheels chair access ramps which can be used for entry and exit. Internally the building has no obvious obstructions and includes adapted toilets for both males and females.
