I was unable to get into the shop. I pressed the doorbell, and a member of staff came to the door. I asked for a ramp, as there is a tall step at the entrance. She immediately went to fetch the ramp. Within a minute or so she was back and she told me that although they have a ramp, it is not safe for use. I queried this with her, as it seemed an odd thing to say. She fetched a person she referred to as "the manager". He told me the same thing: they have a ramp, but it is not safe to use. So I was unable to enter the shop. I asked the manager why, if he knew the ramp was unsafe to use, had he not obtained a ramp which is fit for purpose? He was unable to answer this question.

Bond Street station is 0.3 miles away and is fully step free, but check before you travel because TfL's lifts are notoriously unreliable and may well be out of service at this station, which is served by the Central, Jubilee and Elizabeth Lines. Oxford Street and Regent Street are very near by and are served by many bus routes.
