Overview

Sandcastle is an incredible example of a venue that takes access and inclusion seriously and made adaptations to make it a wonderful experience for as many people as possible. Aside from accessible changing rooms, a Changing places toilet, water ambassadors to assist where required, they also host accessible evenings where the park is given over for the sole use of disabled people and their families. Love it. We wish more venues could follow in Sandcastle's footsteps!

Transport & Parking

There is a large car park directly beside the water park. The only issue is that the Disabled Parking spaces get filled up pretty quickly. Public transport wise, the Tram stops directly outside. They have power wheelchair access.

Access

Fantastic. A huge amount of thought has gone in to make the park as accessible as possible. No problem for us with a relatively large powerchair.

Toilets

Great. An extra point for having a Changing Places toilet (love the decor too!)

Staff

Wonderful. Everyone we met from the front of house staff to members in the cafe were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
