Overview

Scope's London office is within a modern building complex called Here East. There are lots of cafes, bars and areas to sit by the canal side. It is step-free to get into the Scope Office on the second floor of the Press Office building. The security barriers have a wide gate for wheelchair users. They have an accessible emergency lift that can be used in case of a fire. The office itself has 2 wheelchair-accessible toilets, gender-neutral toilets and a very large changing places toilet with an accessible slower. There is tactile flooring throughout the office and a range of different seating options. The is a central eating and kitchen space where you can make yourself free tea and coffee.

Transport & Parking

There is a free wheelchair-accessible shuttle bus for anyone travelling to the Here East site. It runs every few minutes from Stratford and takes 5 minutes to arrive at Here East. On the Scope website there is a video and a written transcript of how to get to the correct bus stop: https://www.scope.org.uk/contact-us/getting-to-scope-offices/

There are always Here East staff in bright orange jackets outside the bus stop and across the site who will help you find the right building.
